All-in-one! Fully automated, plug-and-play compact water treatment unit for rinsing zones.
Many years of experience as a supplier of water treatment for the glass industry has made it possible to design a complete solution.
The solution consist of the following parts:
Demineralized rinse water:
The water is first pre-treated in an ion exchange softening unit and then demineralized using reverse osmosis, a chemical-free technology.
The demineralization process ensures no spots, dirt or residue, and greatly enhances adhesion of PVB film.
A properly designed recycling process reduces the demand for fresh water.
The rinse water is reused/recirculated through a special dual filter that is a combined gravel and activated carbon filter.
The filter removes cutting fluid, leftover residue and particles, including glass chips, interleavants, and other contaminents.
Storage tank and booster pump:
The make-up water as well as the recycling water is collected in a storage tank.
The treated water from the tank is supplied to the rinsing zones by a pump integrated on the skid.
The process is completely automated with sensors and triggers that ensures that everything operates smoothly.
The unit has been prepared for integration with other control systems.
