suitable for firing through both tempering and other firing processes. Glasses can be laminated after firing against the printed surface.
Mercatum Fortis C-Mix spot colours, Pantone shades and RAL shades made out of basic Fortis colours.
Ink shelf life of basic colours is 12 months.
Capacity Dependable mainly on: Used printing mode
Printing thickness (opacity)
Image size and location
Number of colours
Glass size
Resolution need

Maximum printing speed with 24 print heads:
-
up to 400m2/hour when using all print heads with single color and 20 micron wet layer thickness like dots, however very dense dot placement will reduce the max speed about 50% to up to 200m2/hour
-
40 micron wet layer will reduce the maximum speed about 50% to up to 200m2/hour (typically solid printing like edge frames in structural glazing).
-
Multi colour vector printing up to 270 sqm/hour
-
Multi colour image printing up to 80 sqm/hour
-
Above speeds are calculated with 600 dpi, for 1410 dpi capacities are reduced by about 50%
-
Net capacity is calculated reducing the loading and unloading times from the printing speed.
Printing quality Print resolution adjustable through variable drop size up to 1410 dpi
Max/min printing thickness 10/80 microns wet
For larger solid surfaces it is recommended to use at least 4 print heads per colour and more opac print layer
Image processing Image formats including PDF, PS, EPS, Tiff, Bmp, JPEG
Raster image processing (RIP) software (optional office RIP software for remote image processing)
Lay out Overall dimensions 6071 x 7746 mm (WxL)
Working height 952 + 5 mm
Net weight about 9000 kg

The DIP Tech DecoJet NERA D460-3360/24 is a high-end digital glass printer designed for architectural and industrial glass applications. Manufactured by Dip-Tech (a Ferro company), it belongs to the Nera series, which is known for its high-speed production capabilities and precision.
Key Specifications & Features
Printing Technology: Uses digital ceramic inking, where the ink is fused into the glass during the tempering process, making the designs highly durable and weather-resistant.
Model Breakdown:
D460-3360: Indicates the maximum glass dimensions it can handle, typically up to 3300 mm x 6000 mm (roughly 130" x 236"), though specific tray configurations can vary.
24: Usually refers to the number of print heads, which determines the printing speed and the ability to handle multiple colors (CMYK + White and specialized functional inks) simultaneously.
Variable Drop Size: Utilizes multi-drop technology to create smooth gradients and fine details while maintaining high opacity for solid colors.
Automated Maintenance: Features automated cleaning and ink recirculation systems to prevent nozzle clogging, which is critical when using heavy ceramic inks.
Primary Applications
Architecture: Exterior facades, curtain walls, and glass balustrades with UV-resistant patterns.
Interior Design: Kitchen backsplashes, office partitions, and decorative wall panels.
Functional Glass: Printing slip-resistant patterns for glass floors or bird-friendly dot patterns for windows.
