| Info: | The Bystronic double glazing line was newly installed in 2007 and has remained in the same location with a single owner since then. It is an automatic polysulphide sealing line capable of manufacturing both double and triple glazing, the latter in semi-automatic mode. Its working capacity ranges from minimum dimensions of 350 x 190 mm to a maximum of 5000 x 2700 mm, exceeding the standard specifications of 4000 x 2700 mm indicated in the manuals. It works from right to left.
The line can process glass ranging from 3 to 18 mm thick, including low-e glass, to form panels up to 54 mm thick with spacers up to 16 mm thick. This line is 34 metres long and includes a washing machine, inspection and frame positioning area, panel press and automatic sealing machine. Between the buffer positions of the machines that make up the line and the transport conveyors, several buffer positions are achieved, which optimises the workflow and prevents small delays at one point from halting the entire production. One of its main advantages is its simplicity and speed of production. The operator only needs to load the glass into the washing machine's inlet chute, without having to enter measurements or shapes. The line automatically takes care of assembly and sealing, with the previously butylated frame having to be positioned manually. If a defective piece of glass is detected, it can be removed without stopping the machine, allowing for a continuous process without interruptions. In terms of performance, the line achieves a sealing speed of up to 30 m/min, allowing more than 400 units to be manufactured per 8-hour shift, provided that production is maintained under optimal conditions. The machine is in good condition, as it has been regularly and properly maintained throughout its useful life. In addition, the sale includes a large number of spare parts, such as sensors, actuators, wheels, among others, which guarantees that, once purchased, you will have the necessary materials to carry out repairs in case of breakdown. In terms of electrical connections, the machine has three four-pole electrical panels (3F + N): the first, rated at 35 kW, located behind the washer, controls the inlet fence and the washer; the second, rated at 23 kW, controls the inspection and positioning area, the press and the transport barriers; and the third, rated at 22 kW, is for the sealing machine. In addition, it requires a pneumatic supply with a working pressure of more than 6 bar, with a maximum consumption of 250 l/min during use and up to 500 l/min during barrel changeover.
